Convert Choice points to AA with 25%/35% bonus miles by 6/30/10

For a limited time, earn up to 35% more miles when you convert your hotel points to AAdvantage miles with participating partners. Participating AAdvantage Hotel partners are shown below with a green diamond. Offer ends June 30!

Conversion bonus mile offer will not appear on hotel partner's website. Simply convert hotel points to miles with any of the highlighted partners and the bonus will be awarded by American Airlines. Bonus miles will be posted within 7 business days after partner awards miles for conversion activity.

Carefully read the T&C:
http://www.aa.com/i18n/disclaimers/b...conditions.jsp
To qualify for this AAdvantage® bonus mile offer, member must complete AAdvantage mileage conversions with eligible AAdvantage program hotel participants between 12:00 am CDT June 14, 2010 and 11:59 pm CDT June 30, 2010 (the “Promotion Period”), and be in good standing in the AAdvantage program. Members cannot combine AAdvantage mileage conversions from the same or multiple eligible AAdvantage program hotel participants to earn the bonus miles.

To earn the 25% conversion bonus, member must convert points from eligible AAdvantage program hotel participants that result in 1,000 - 20,000 AAdvantage miles within the Promotion Period. To earn the 35% conversion bonus, member must convert points from eligible AAdvantage program hotel participants that equate to 20,001 or more AAdvantage miles within the Promotion Period. Conversions for hotel and air packages from eligible AAdvantage hotel participants are excluded from this offer. This offer is non-transferable and non-reversible.

Bonus miles will be posted by American Airlines to the qualifying AAdvantage member's account within 7 business days after the initial conversion activity has been posted by the eligible hotel program participant. Bonus miles earned in this promotion do not count toward elite status qualification.
6/15/10 EDIT: Looks to me like one can only redeem a maximum of 25,000 Choice points at a time, for 5,000 AA miles (or US miles - see that promo), so getting a 35% bonus from AA seems out of the picture, UNLESS multiple redemptions will count. 25% would work, though. Also, note this qualifer in the redemption terms: "Please allow 6-8 weeks for Airline Rewards to be posted to your airline account when redeeming Choice Privileges® points for Airline Rewards. Guest name must match frequent flyer membership name to redeem Airline Rewards."

So once we have initiated the request we are covered?
What if it takes choice longer than June 30 to post the points?

This is Sloppily written by AA.

I find it hard to believe that without a fight that AA will award bonus after June 30

Update to the OP

I edited the OP. Looks like one can only get 25% bonus from AA on this promo, due to the 25,000 Choice points maximum redemption at a time. For the 35% AA bonus, fuhgeddaboudit, unless multiple redemptions will count.

Maybe you can call in, rather than redeem online. I dunno. I have no plans to redeem Choice points. I use hotel points for hotel stays, exclusively.

If one is shooting for the 35% bonus, an AA inquiry would seem prudent.

I wonder if YourAAdvantageVoice could arrange for an exception or manual workaround to this exclusion. If anyone is interested, it would be worth asking. (At this point in time, I'm not interested. I still think that my Choice points are worth more to me for hotel stays.)
