Bicycles in China

How common is it to see electric bicycles in China?

Do you have any tips for bicycling in China?

Very common in the cities now that getting a license for mopeds is harder and more expensive.

Tips....Wear a helmet? Be careful? Go with the flow :D Biked around Shanghai for most of August without any problems.
