Carrying Camera Gear into China
I am making my first trip into China next month and I'm going to Beijing and Chengdu. I was curious on how it is to carry camera get into and out of China. I'm planning on taking 2 Nikon Z bodies (Z8 and Z6iii) along with a 14-30 f/4, 24-120 f/4, 100-400, and 600 f/6.3 lens and possible a 14-24 mm f/2.8 lens for night photography along with all the needed accessories (batteries, cables, etc) needed to keep the camera charged. Will this be an issue with customs or anywhere else traveling in China or am I being paranoid?

You're being a bit paranoid.....China is like most other countries.
I would just be sure thr batteries don't exceed the maximum wattage permitted, and that powerbanks have the 3C certification for domestic mainland flights. |
That's a lot of gear. Heavy too.
I'd be more concerned about being able to carry all that stuff than getting it into the country. |
There is no issue. The only thing that might be an issue is when you leave, you might need to keep your batteries with you, instead of checking them in with the rest of your luggage.

Why would you need a 600mm lens for travel photography? Are you doing a professional photo shoot in China?
