Guangzhou 24hr Layover options.
 

Last minute trip to Europe tomorrow from Aus transiting CAN. I don't qualify for free hotel so wanting advice please. Looking to stay close to metro 3 (canton tower maybe) or any other advice, including mid range 4* places to stay for a single night in the city.

All advice and recommendations welcome.

From recent experience I can highly recommend the NEYA Hotel. The excellent breakfast is served at the Vienna Hotel next door, which is more upscale and full of business traveller.

They offer Airport pickup and drop off.

There is a restaurant close by that serves "hot-pot", made with donkey or beef.
