US Passports Expired in 2018, but Chinese Visas valid until 2025

I am wondering if Chinese visas (for myself, 18-year-old son and 13-year-old girl) that are valid until 2025 which were entered on passports expiring in 2018, will work with new passports. If so (quick preliminary research indicated that the visas should be valid, but I trust the veterans here more), do we all carry 2 passports, or what is the procedure?

Thanks for any help that can be given.

You’ll have to carry both passports.

Yup, you will need to carry both passports. One of my colleagues has this exact situation and that is what he has been doing for the past year and a half.

Thanks a lot for the help. Will carry the 2 passports. Good to know that nothing else needs to be done.
