Use Didi, it's their version of Uber. You can download the app before leaving on your trip, it's all in english and very visitor friendly. Also great for getting around in town since you can search the destination in english and it sends it to the driver.
Other option, if you are adventurous, is to take the MagLev train into town then the subway the rest of the way. It's actually a lot of fun and really cheap.

The reason I ask is because the #2 bus is my favorite way to go between the city and the airport, but only works for jingan.
The MagLev is worth I try while it still exists, but it will not save you any time; furthermore, getting a taxi from longyang Road is not fun.
I use didi every day, but almost never for airport arrivals. Sure, it's a little cheaper than taxis, but finding your driver completely erases this cost advantage.

Unless you want to hang out near Jing'an Temple before going to Hengfang Road (not an awful idea), you should just get a taxi from the queue at the airport. That having been said, you'll definitely want to use Didi to get around locally. The thing is, your hotel has AMAZING subway access (i.e. I am hard pressed to think of a more useful subway station in the entire system).
