CNY spending

2019- the first holiday week of CNY spending is over 1 trillion yuan. ( $149 billion) Up 8.5 % over last year,still abet of slow growth. Holiday travelers spent 1.2 billion RMB using WeChat from Feb. 4th-9th.823 million WeChat users sent or received virtual "red envelopes" stuffed with money, about a 7% increase over the holiday period a year ago. 2019 Lantern festival is Feb. 18th & the end of this years CNY. Oh- BTW- my favorite Home Plate BBQ in Beijing opens up on Feb. 20th.

Which location is your favorite? Imo SLT is more fun, but xiaoyun lu has better food.

Xiaoyun in the summer, as one can eat BBQ brisket outside & smoke a cigar !
