transit through China with Pakistani passport.
 

I am a Pakistani national and flying to Indonesia from London. My flight stops for 7-8 hours on the way to Indonesia and back. I dont intend to leave the airport. Do i need a transit visa to be in a Chinese airport for a connecting flight? thanks

When I check Timatic on the Emirates websites, it says "visa required" for Pakistani nationals.

I've just double checked. While there are some restrictions TWOV-wise for Pakistani nationals, such connection through China (minus a few minor airports, but I would expect such transfer to be happening through one of the major hubs, which are all having no special remarks) seems to be compliant and I'd not expect any worries since the answer from TIMATIC is clear cut "good to fly".
