Connecting time of 90 min in Beijing
 
I have a Air China connection from LAX to Mumbai in Beijing -90mins.

LAX flight comes in t3 in beijing and leaves in 90mins from T2 from Beijing to Mumbai

Is that enough time?

90 mins is cutting it pretty fine.

Are you sure PEK-BOM leaves from T2? If so, I wouldn't attempt it, but I'd feel comfortable with a T3 connection.

Assuming that all in one ticket, it is a legal/valid connection at BJS and there is nothing to worry about. CA will rebook in case you miss your BOM flight. There are numerous alternatives to get from BJS to BOM.
