Hong Kong Non-Revenue Transit Visa
Hello-
I am a US passport holder and citizen. I will be traveling from Mumbai-Hong Kong-USA this August. I will be traveling as a Non-Revenue passenger on standby. Will I need a transit visa? How will I go about this since I do not have a confirmed ticket leaving Hong Kong?
Thank you!

As a US Citizen, you do not need a visa for HK. If your question is whether you need to show HK Immigration an onward air ticket, I was never asked in the dozen or so times I have been through HK.

Just in case - if you have a companion traveling with you and use an Indian Passport for travel, additional step will be required for Hong Kong's immigration.
