Beijing on 11 November

So I just realized that I'll be in Beijing on 11 November, probably the biggest shopping day.

I'm thinking of avoiding shops at all, and focus on tourist sites. Or will tourist sites be crazy busy too?

Anyone have suggestions for something quieter to do?

Singles Day is mostly an online affair.

It's a big day for online shopping. Can't think of a reason why tourist sites would be affected at all.
