Is this a reasonable time between flights?
 
We are flying into PVG on Air Canada, then need to fly on to PEK on a separate ticket. We are scheduled to arrive in PVG at 1620, Terminal 2. Air China has a flight leaving from Terminal 2 at 1905. Is this a long enough interval to make this flight? We will have only carry on luggage.
Thank you for any help! We are very excited to be making our first trip to China.

This is plenty of time even if you have luggage. AC flies to Shanghai, why not fly direct??

Poor planning on my part. :(
We had planned to spend a few days in Shanghai, but our family asked us to come straight to Beijing, to limit the amount of traveling they have to do. It makes sense, so we are trying to make it happen. Thanks for the help!
