As post #24 suggests, 3 hours is perfectly fine in the reverse direction, but your CZ flight is low on the totem pole (i.e. you won't be leaving CAN or SZX until PEK confirms a landing slot; while things are much better now, all of us have experienced 12+ hour delays).
With the chance of +12 hour delay, that's simply nuts! I pull out PLAN B.

SO, is the T2 domestic (from CZ arrival) to T2 international (AA departure) transfer involve any shuttle bus? Or simply walk within the same terminal building?
