5.5 hours at Hangzhou airport - what to do there?

CA change my connection and I now have 5.5 hours waiting for my connection flight at the Hangzhou airport! Have never been to Hangzhou myself so any suggestion for a half day city tour starting from the HANGZHOU AIRPORT?

BTW, is there any CA or *A lounge at the Hangzhou airport to hang out?

Thanks!

yes, there are two * A lounges, but do not expect much other than snacks & beverages. Some typical airport shopping stores with overpriced HZ tea.
- Its about a 45 minute ride to central HZ, 130 rmb by taxi.

That will leave me about 3 hours at Central HZ assuming I need to be back one hour before my next flight. What is there to do at CENTRAL HZ (for 3 hours)?

Anything place else more interesting than CENTRAL HZ?

Not that I know of. 3 hours at the lake wouldn't be such a bad thing, but bear in mind that HZ is one of the few cities in China that rivals Beijing on the traffic/taxi front. Still, 5.5 hours in the airport would be shear torture.

There is Westlake and maybe a local dumpling on a walk around part of the lake.

Does the (West)lake and CENTRAL HZ mean the same place? Sounds like checking out the lake may be the only option unless someone else has a better idea?

No. Choose one of the other, but if we were to do a poll, I'm quite certain the lake would be a clear winner.

Negotiate with the cabbie to drive you around the lake, with 2-3 stops at the more scenic sites; and back to the airport. The driver should be very happy to do so.

Sounds like a good idea; any suggestion how much may be a fair price to pay the taxi driver for 3-hour to do this?
