Beijing Adjustments

Great idea for a thread, I will link to this from the Master Transportation Thread.

I would like to make some adjustments to travel times for Beijing based on current realities:
--Bus (Airport Shuttle): 45 to 90 minutes depending on final location and time of day whether inbound to city or outbound to airport. (RMB 16)
--Airport Express: Due to loop layout of route: Inbound to city 15 minutes from Terminal 2 to Sanyuanqiao/Subway Line 10 interchange, 20 minutes from T2 to Dongzhimen Transport Hub Terminus. Add 10 minutes to each of those times if starting from T3. Outbound to airport: 15 min from SYQ to Terminal 3, 20 from Dongzhimen to T3, add 10 minutes to those times if heading for Terminal 2 (RMB 25). Note that Terminal 1 is not served directly by Airport Express, you must walk to Terminal 2 and use that stop: add 10-15 minutes.

--Taxi: 30 to 90 minutes depending on final location and time of day. Areas in the northeast 3rd/4th Ring Roads in non-rush hours on the 30 minute end. To Fuxingmen/Financial District during inbound rush hour, closer to 90. Wangfujing area somewhere in the middle. (RMB 70-150. Off-meter expressway toll charge RMB 10. Off-meter fuel surcharge RMB 2. )

Pretty sure that the GZ airport/hotel busses are called 'Airport Express' and that is in addition to the subway option which isn't on there. I'd estimate that the subway is 30-45 minutes to GZ East Station

Edit:Not really sure if there is also a local bus in addition.

Thank OP for starting the thread.
Question re taxi time. Is the highway (road) to LJG construction completed? If not, need to increase time to airport. My experience from August this year. Most taxi tend to charge CNY100

When I was there in September they were still working on the highway. It was quite a bumpy ride. I paid 80 each way (to the crowne plaza). I will change to a range of 80-100 cny.
