I would advice foreigners in China to eat their food cooked.
Otherwise head towards western-style establishments where the methods of food preparation is at least of some consistent level of hygiene. Around the same Pudong area, I would recommend Shangri-La Pudong or Ritz-Carlton Pudong, they are just next to each other. Inside Super Brand Mall, I had the best fast-food dinners at "KungFu" on level 5 (Chinese: Zhen Gong Fu). You can't miss it, it's the one with the Bruce Lee caricature. Complete meal with rice, soup, meat and vege for under US$7. |
