These people get crazier every day. Shoes that do not set off the magnetometer really don't need to be x-rayed. (Yeah, I know they could still contain a bomb, but really, think about the millions of travelers inconvenienced by this.) And shoes in carry-on bags DO get x-rayed! What is the point of removing them from the bag? Can you imagine how much delay this will cause while people search through their bags for packed shoes?

I'm realy going to stop traveling!

This joke of an agency has got to go.

The very fact that some TSA employees have pointed out that another complete checkpoint full of them isn't following a security directive properly (not to mention that they are discussing the directive at all on a public message board) is just more evidence that the TSA was a collossal mistake that needs fixed.

I'm sending this thread (and several others) to my Representative and Senators, the IG, as well as Idiots Loy, Ridge, and Mineta to get their feedback.

Thanks, TSA participants. With your help, perhaps this mistake need not be permanent.

FWAAA...send it to whoever you want. There is not a SINGLE organization in the world today that does everything the same way at every location. Your disdain for the TSA aside, not one thing we mentioned on this public forum is a release of any SSI either. So what you think you might accomplish by this is beyond me. Just because you do not like the job that some people do, you do not have the right to silence them through intimidation. I for one am not afraid of you or your "threats."

Not interested in silencing anyone nor intimidating anyone - more interested in seeing all of you fired - all 55,000 of you.

Talk, post, disclose whatever you want.
