Another reason to be angry with Norm Mineta:

He learned prior to September 11 (according to NYTimes) that Z Moussoui had been arrested and that others had been taking flying lessons - but he did nothing to warn airlines of the potential threat or to suggest that they change their hijacking SOPs. Shame on him.

OBL probably had no better help within the US government (except, of course, for Ashcroft, who, with his bumbling FBI leadership, failed to spread the word about Moussoui's arrest adequately).
