UA reportedly mishandles checked firearm
United allegedly sent a checked gun on an early flight and then left it on the carousel where it was stolen. I’m not intimately familiar with the TSA rules for firearms, but I thought they were required to maintain tighter oversight.
Regardless, I hope this finally kills the infinitely repeating story about checking a starter’s pistol.
