Wow! That’s very sad about him. He will be missed. His condolences go to the entire family.

Obituary

I found an obituary and a newspaper article from the Cincinnati area. Hopefully, he had several times his salary in his Federal Employee's Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) policy. The funeral home noted a GoFundMe page for his daughters.

May he rest in peace.

Like any extraordinary propaganda artist, his contributions to the public domain were a useful basis upon which to try to expose the government for governmental nonsense peddled to the public in the name of security. Unfortunately, most people just tend to buy the government propaganda way more than they should or they are so apathetic to governmental disinformation and deflection campaigns that even blatant lies coming from the very top of government end up being just par for the course. Even the dead Soviet leaders and their propaganda machine could have learned a trick or two from the social media peddlings from the TSA.

I'm sure Bob's family are capable of looking at the comments here for themselves if they want to read them.

I wonder if his replacement will be as adept as he was at spinning lies and disinformation?

Oh, someone will take up the challenge, even if they aren't as public as Bob was. TSA perfected the art of lying long before Trump arrived on scene, and there is no reason to believe things will change. If anything, the lies from TSA will get worse.

gsoltso, please relay my condolences to Bob's wife and family.

"Any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind" (John Donne)

Regardless of how one feels about the TSA organization, "Blogger Bob" was a man whose loss will be mourned by friends and family, so his passing saddens me. May he rest in peace.
