Sounds like some screeners should be in jail.

I'm sure it's all a big misunderstanding on the pax's part.

I have no reason to doubt that this atrocity happened as described by Ms Howard. Frankly, this kind of sexual assault and abuse by TSA clerks simply isn't "news" anymore. God help us -- literally.

"Lower your pants"

Here's yet another event in which TSA asked a passenger to "lower her pants":

For a colorectal cancer survivor on IV nutrition, airport security is another hurdle to vault - Philly

Lift your shirt, lower your pants. Why my pants? The PICC (peripherally-inserted-central-catheter) line is in my arm! All the while, I was being peered at by women who seem never to have seen medical devices before.

Limited number of articles available for free per month. At least that's the message, guess I have been there previously this month.

Open the page in browser incognito mode. In Chrome, open a new incognito window. works wonders for me for many pay sites.

Ah, that's why I have no issue with it.

Yup, they seem to feel that anything other than an able-bodied passenger is someone trying to pull something over on them. They probably have seen enough people opting out of the scanners for "medical" reasons that they assume all medical issues are fake.

Even so, that's absolutely no reason to ask anyone to "lower their pants." If that should ever happen to me, I will demand the police, a search warrant and private video taping of their search.

Yeah, it's obviously retaliatory. I'm just saying what I think triggers the problem.
