EU biometric-based border control survey
OT: mods, I hope it is ok to post this to the forum as I know many BA travellers use existing e-gates or have experience of border checks at airports. Thanks, jameslon.
--- Dear all, Shape the Future of Automated Border Control The European Commission have funded research exploring current and future use of biometrics in border control. The PROTECT project invites you to share your experiences, opinions and perceptions of current border control and how future border control could exploit 'on the move' biometric checks, including enhanced use of mobile phones and ePassports. We thank you in advance for your time in completing the questionnaire which should take 5-10 minutes to complete. www.projectprotect.eu/questionnaire |
Sounds an interesting project. (Another reason to ensure that our smartphones are fully charged when travelling...)
