TSA PreCheck on International?
Recently had Precheck show up on my Boarding Passes for both connecting & international flights (US departure).
Has there been a change of policy? (Certainly made my day a bit better!) |

It changed quite awhile ago... May 2013.

I traveled on an international itinerary last December, DCA-ATL-CDG-BUD, and was not given TSA pre-check; however, I started two other European trips at DCA last year, all on DL metal, and was granted pre-check privileges (in late August, DCA-JFK-PRG, and in November, DCA-JFK-MXP).
On the December trip, I was on DL for the first two segments and then AF on the intra-Europe segment. I had to go through security at CDG to get first to the immigration officer, and then to get over to Terminal 2F to make the ongoing flight. |

Thanks; my bad for missing-- but boy, my luck of the draw must be pretty poor on this one!

If you have GE or TSA Pre, your KTN is properly entered and there is a name match between the name associated with your KTN and under which you are ticketed, you should see Pre-Check close to 100% of the time.
Every time I have a non-selection, it is because there is something loused up in the record which can be easily fixed. |
