This is not at a US airport.

The LiveLeak video description states this is at KTW (in Poland).

You can also tell fairly easily that this is not in the US, for example by the signage.

Actually, it is US Airport, but not a foreign country.

It doesn't matter for which the foreign country is that.

It is absolutely NOT a US airport. And its not a TSA officer.

This happened at Katowice Airport in Poland.

Unless the TSA went back to staffing its "officers" with white shirts, I don't think it is a TSA employee tho it does appear that it could be a U.S. airport as it looks like there is "advertising" in the little grey bins

Too bad... Guess the tally of lives saved by TSA remains at 0.

I appreciate you've got a genuine belief that this was the TSA, but you are wrong. Totally wrong. It was a Polish security clerk, at a Polish airport. The TSA does not operate in Poland and its clerks do not wear white shirts.

Hi N830MH

Unfortunately the clip you provided the link for wasn't captioned.

It is from a US news show but the reporter does say it happened at a polish airport.

You're right, it was an amazing catch. Just not by an US TSA agent but one of their Polish equivalents.

Sorry but you are wrong here. This took place in Poland as some other posters pointed out.

Your mistake is trusting the Today show, a parrot for the US government, as a reliable new source. These are also the same master journalist who put up a picture of US Senator Ron Johnson while running a story about JC Penney CEO Ron Johnson being fired. Facts are not their strong point.

If this has happened with a TSA employee, the stupid blog would be bleating about it to no end...

I think the point that the subject of the OP's link is not about the TSA has been made plenty clear and the title of this thread has been changed to reflect that. Let's please move on to discussing the actual contet of the video. Thanks.

Catching falling objects is not part of the job description of any security screener so its just a coincidence
