TSA Admits (in court papers) That a Terrorist Attack on US Flights is Very Unlikely

I'm sure this will come as a shock to many people here:

TSA: Terrorist Threat to Air Safety is Minimal

While air travelers continue to be told that they must remove their shoes and go through a body scanner to combat the threat of terrorism in the skies, it turns out that the Transportation Safety Administration has gone on record stating that the threat and risk of terrorist attacks on aviation is very small.

In an accidentally leaked, unredacted court document that was published online October 7, the TSA said that “terrorist threat groups present in the Homeland are not known to be actively plotting against civil aviation targets or airports.”...

Glad to see some truth telling. Maybe the US superpatriot spy brigade will link
the truth teller to imaginary sex crimes in Sweden and kill him.
Of the 102 new airport policies implemented since 911, eg stupid stuff
like having your toothpaste confiscated, only two really matter,
locking the cockpit door and telling people to fight back.
Everything else is just theater.

There are about 1.6 millions air passengers daily in the U.S. TSA has never identified a U.S. based terrorist threat in all the years since the agency was created. What TSA has given the public is thieves, perverts, drug mules, and other undesirable characters.

I can do without this TSA.

Sounds like another good reason to end this sad, disgusting sociopathic experiment known as TSA. Let the criminal charges against some TSA employees begin!

The brief, filed by Jonathan Corbett, who is suing the TSA for invasion of privacy, cites several key facts including the observation that it has been over 35 years since there has been any attempt to bring explosives through any U.S. airport.
Huh? Clearly incorrect. Perhaps he means to claim "...with obvious evil intent to take down the plane."

The threat is low because of the success of the TSA
