If Only He'd Practice What He Preaches (VP Biden)
Saw this quote from US Vice-President Biden today, from remarks at the funeral for the slain MIT police officer (related to Boston Marathon bombing):

In that same speech, didn't he say the two brothers who set off the Boston Marathon bombs were cowards? I have to say that US airports and Gitmo demonstrate that our politicians -- across most of the political spectrum -- may be considered cowards too given all their support for TSA nonsense and for making/maintaining holes in the traditional US criminal justice system when it comes to some supposed homicidal maniacs.
Sadly, the fact that we have a cowardly politician problem, as evidenced by what goes on at airports, is a reflection of the general public that voted/votes them into office even as they talk one talk and walk another. |

On maybe 25% of my Acela runs I have had my bags searched by armed LEOs who were "randomly" pulling people from line. And probably an equal number where they had dogs sniffing passengers. Not that they'd do that to Biden, mind you, but everyone else has to deal with the harassment. |
