First Charter Flight

I flew in my first business charter last week.

This is what flying must have been like 30 years ago!

Drove up to the plane.
NO security other than an ID check.
Boarded, and took off.
No one barked at me.
No xray death box.
No feel up.

Landed about two hours later and got on with my life.

How can business travel on general aviation be so much easier?

I don't even get the ID check for domestic General Aviation flights. Only international.

So you and your mates could have stormed the cockpit and hijacked the plane

Yet highly unlikely the plane could have been used as a strategic weapon, unless significant planning and execution occured. Sure, lots of operational damage, and even tactical damage... yet strategic? Possible, yet how likely?

OP, if you don't mind sharing, what was the aircraft make/type?
