German, or less likely French (depends on how tired/stressed/confused I am, and where I have been previously)

The response is to continue to bark at me more and more loudly in English.

The same tactic was used on Japanese, Koreans, and other Germans as well.

That's what the TSA would like us to believe, anyway. "See, we're doing what the Israelis are doing! After a few weeks of practice, we'll be just as good at it as they are. No, better, because we're Americans!"

Security in Israel goes far beyond asking you who packed your bags and looking for funny eye movements. They pretty much know who you are by the time you get to the airport. Everyone in the airport is involved in the security "experience," not just the people in uniform. And it goes on and on.

There is no secret method by which they can count the number of times you blink in a minute and determine whether you are a terrorist. And letting the average passenger believe that what the TSA does is anything close to what is done in Israel is disingenuous at best and dangerous at worst.

I know you know this and were just making a point, but too many people don't.
