Note to DHS: Our interstate infrastructure doesn't need terrorists to fail, neglect is the real reason; it could use some cash infusion, however.....

Hey! If you don't like the TSA, take a train.... oh wait....
If you don't like the TSA, take a bus.... ummm... nix that....
If you don't like the TSA, drive.... errr... be sure to skip Georgia too.

Just wait. Walking is a form of transportation, too.

There is hope, though. I like a couple of the comments chiding militias for doing nothing.

You did notice that they had "explosive and drug sniffing dogs"

Hence the real reason for the checkpoint. TSA is all show about terrorists, but is being turned into an arm of the DEA, regardless of what the Constitution says.

Of course it is because there is zero chance of the TSA ever intercepting an actual (as opposed to imaginary) terrorist. Nil. Nada.

So what else are 60,000+ workers going to do ? Become a de facto law enforcement agency. Some predicted this back in 2002 (no names :) ).

I chuckled at:

Oh, good, encouraging "see something say something (SSSS)" on the highways. That'll go over real well in Boston.

"Yeah, officer, a guy just cut me off. And another! And another! One guy shot me a suspicious looking finger. Hey, somebody else just shot me. Man, it's a mess out here..."

They were apparently at the recent Balloon Fiesta in ABQ 2 weeks ago, though what exactly they were doing is still a mystery.

I am all for getting the TSA out of our airports, but this is NOT what I had in mind! :td: :td: :td:
