Detroit Changes
 

My wife went through DTW (McNamara Term) this afternoon. (I was there to drop her off). We were struck by a few changes. First, Delta now only has one Priority lane for elites. It is on the second floor near ticketing. The other second floor line doesn't have the line anymore and the one on the main level near the air bridge doesn't have a priority lane any more.

Apparently, the only trusted traveler line will only be at the same gate as the priority lane. What was even more amazing is that one day before the program goes live in Detroit, no one knew anything.

Bottom line: it will take longer, not less time, to go through our new system.
