Hasn't anyone at the TSA thought about piggybacking onto existing and very successful programs like NEXUS/ SENTRI or GE?
Seems pretty straight forward to me. 100% effective with little additional cost. Why would you need to integrate with airlines etc? What possible value could that have? A trusted traveler has biometric data on file (100% certainty that I'm who I claim to be) and are, by definition low risk. You are already letting trusted travelers into the USA with little to no primary inspection. What dramatically changes when I want to board an airplane? |
