I like PDX. They are very respectful of beavers in Oregon....esp those alumni from Corvallis

I'm just hoping that FIDO isn't the nickname of some lazy TSA Clerk who wants to keep laying down while on the job. There already seem to be enough pictures of TSA folks who fit that description floating around in the ethers.

Random musing inspired by the title of this thread:

I wonder if some enterprising terrorist has thought about planting explosives in a pet's body cavities? Surely that would be just as easy as the rumored explosive breast implants in a human? Plus, carrying a treasured poochie with you on a trip is likely to endear you to at least some TSOs, thus deflecting the keen suspicions of the SPOTters.

I wonder how quickly the JackTheCat / PETA crowd would be up in arms if the TSA patted down dogs the same way they patted down humans? Or if any TSOs would draw a line and say, "No, I won't do that to an animal!"
