Well, I guess he had a background check, so that's something.
I wonder if ICE will trot out the "one bad apple doesn't reflect on the blah blah blah of our thousands of hard-working employees..." line. "We have a zero tolerance policy for child porn."

I wonder if this guy had been influencing the investigations ICE was doing in exchange for "financial considerations"? If you extrapolate from most of the espionage cases, one could build a scenario in which this slug was tipping off his buddies that ICE was closing in, or, perhaps, they were simply deleted from the records? I'll bet one of his buddies ratted on him in exchange for a plea bargain or something?
