Well it only takes one person with a dissenting opinion that gets vocal enough about it that starts to rile up others and then it cascades from there, and from what i have witnessed and nearly ganged up on it wasnt pretty. I have seen it before while traveling, from behind the bar, and as a medic on a scene with bystanders around, it doesnt take much and after that its a mess. It seems like this lady started making comments to everyone in ear shot, that starts the cascade and it snowballs unless some force/person intervenes. I also think that there is a lot of missing information as well but i dont think it will see the light of day or the news.

essxjay - yes those people would be familiar with it, but the average person who doesnt drink/handle vodka might not catch it. Now if someone tells me they can tell the difference between potato, corn, wheat or barley vodka im gonna have to call BS and make them prove it in a blind test.

So, I guess we all learned something today. If you think the pilot's drunk, call 911 from a pay phone in the airport and report it - anonymously!

Wow, far cry from this post#24 at this link that you made:

"It is not everyone's responsibility to keep us all safe; that's what we pay law enforcement for. If they can't do their jobs appropriately, then let them fail and suffer the embarassment. I simply don't buy into the "If you see something, say something" crap... never have, and never will."

So, which is it?

Just another example of no good deed goes unpunished! I too have naively mentioned some abnormal behavior or circumstance that I witnessed, in other than flight situations, and have at a minimum been chastised by persons of apparent authority.

If you see something unusual who is this omnipotent entity we have been instructed to report it to?
