INK Business Premier is marketed as a cash-back card, but language in the terms indicate that it earns Ultimate Rewards points. Even though the card earns UR points, they cannot be Transferred to airline or hotel partners, and cannot be Combined with another card to work around this restriction. $195 annual fee. 2% on all purchases, except 2.5% on purchases of $5,000+.

The card became available mid-December 2021 in Chase retail bank branches through a Business Relationship Manager (BRM). Not all branches have a BRM. It became available online in the 4th quarter of 2022.

When I wrote that post there was a countdown timer, but now the site just says "soon". It will be interesting to see if Chase revisits the decision to exclude this card from Transferable rewards.

UBS Bank USA has had a Visa Infinite Business Card since June of 2019.
  • UBS Visa Infinite Business card is the first Infinite branded business card in the US and is built to meet the high standards of business executives. The credit card, offered at a $550 annual fee, is designed for frequent travelers who want access to special perks and upgrades.

Anyone confirm you can't transfer points?

I went into 2 branches today asking about this card and the CIU and both people told me I was allowed to pool with my current CIP.

Maybe they don't know/ were wrong? If the Premier can't, I'll probably go to the CIU (If the bonus is higher) or Amex

This is true and explained in the terms. You can move points from other card to Premier, but not from Premier to any other card. The Combined points are held in the Premier account, not in any other, and therefore cannot be transferred to hotel or airline partners.

Thanks!

Hard pass on that card then. Chase Ink Unlimited it is...

Hopefully I can find a good SUB for it in the next few weeks.

I'm hoping that one day Chase will change its mind, or run some kind of promo, but this is more of a hope than anything grounded in reality.

It's still a better card in terms of cashback than my AmEx Business Platinum. I used to put my >$5k charges on my AmEx Biz Plat when my other business cards were maxed out due to high levels of A/P in a month. I'd rather have 2.5% cashback than 1.5x MR, especially since I have over 1 million MR I don't know what to do with.

Sorry, but I cannot replicate your calculation. 700,000 points at 1.5/dollar means spending $466,667, and 2.5% of that amount is $11,667.

Correct, but they can also be redeemed for cash at the same rate.

Redemption values for reward options vary.

travel, each point is worth $.01 (one cent), which means that
100 points equals $1 in redemption value

I also don't understand why we would compare 700,000 points to $30,000. The amount of spending required to generate $30,000 at 2.5% is $1.2 million, and that would earn 1.8 million points using INK Unlimited.

1.2 million points equals $12,000 because the points are worth $0.01 each.

It appears you are assigning a value of $0.025 each. The card earns 2.5 points per dollar spent, but the redemption rate is $0.01/point.

Thanks Mia for clarifying. I deleted my previous posts to not confuse others.
