Has anyone tried paying their tmobile cell phone bill with the card? I am trying to see if it triggers 5% cash back on new iphone purchase at Tmobile. Thank you.

Yes. I placed a couple of on-line orders using Freedom Flex. All have bonus points applied.

I got the 5% bonus thru Verizon wireless autopay with the Freedom, so that works with regular monthly bill. In the Wiki, it is said purchase of phones and equipment are excluded.

Does a Costco Store card (gift card) purchased online or in store work at the Costco Gas stations? ETA - Google says so, so I'll be giving this a try, getting the 5x bonus on Freedom Flex and converting that to the pump.

Not much danger of going wild. With the reduced travel from the pandemic I only put gas in the car once a month.

Probably a targeted offer and for me the legacy Freedom was the one selected by Chase. I've yet to see any emails for the promotion.
