Credit bureau

Which credit bureau(s) does Chase use when pulling credit reports? For each of the last 3 Chase cards I have applied, I have received a call from the Chase Fraud department asking if I applied for the card. I would like to remove that fraud alert.

I am pretty sure that this phone call delays the approval of my application.

How would knowing the name of the credit bureau prevent Chase from calling to verify that you opened the account?

I don't believe i said knowing the name of the credit bureau would prevent Chase from calling to verify that I opened the account. Nor would I expect that it would.

With all of the data breaches going on out there, having Chase call to confirm a credit card application is actually not a bad thing in this day and age.

I keep all of my credit reports frozen. It's free to do that now. Then I temporarily thaw it when I apply for a card.
