When does the bonus clock get reset and... (INK)
 

1- say the AF hits on 7/1 yet the statement closes on 7/10 when does the clock for the bonus pts get reset eg 5x @ Cell companys or Office supplys?

2- if you made a $200 purchase on 6/21 and it appears on your July bill does it count for the new year or the previous years clock?

simply trying to figure out when the cat will max out so I dont over spend and end up with 1x instead of 5x

The bonus categories reset after 12 monthly cycles from the time you applied, the date of the annual fee hitting is not relevant. You can also go into your profile and look at your 4x bonus profile and track your progress. Once your 12th statement cycle cuts, you should see the 4x bonus category (1x+4x = 5x on OSS) go back to 0 signaling a new year.
