This thread is for discussion of so-called Chase Offers, which have the following characteristics:
  • They are visible in your Chase Online account and in the app.
  • They are tied to specific cards, not to every Chase card you hold.
  • They are targeted. You will not necessarily receive the same offer on a specific card type (or even any offer at all) compared to other holders of that card.
  • There may be multiple simultaneous variations of a given offer. Current offers for a specific merchant may vary in terms of discount level (e.g., 10% vs. 20%), expiration date, or maximum benefit. Pay close attention to the particulars of each offer.
  • You must register for (“add”) an offer in order to use it. (The Chase Offers FAQ states incorrectly that registration is not required.)
  • They run for short periods (typically less than 30 days), not for a full quarter.
  • They generally offer a percentage discount (up to a stated maximum) or, less commonly, a fixed rebate (for spending a stated minimum amount) on purchases from an individual merchant. They are typically not for spending in generic categories such as groceries, gas, etc., although these do show up on rare occasions.
  • They are typically for one-time use only. On rare occasions, however, a Chase Offer may apply to all purchases (up to a set maximum) made with the relevant card during the offer period.
  • Chase will occasionally extend an offer with no notice other a changed expiration date in the offer T&C. This does not allow for double-dipping: that is, you may not use a one-time offer during the added period if you already used it during the initial validity period.
  • Statement credits may take as long as two weeks to appear in your transactions.
    • You can adjust your profile settings to receive email notification—usually arriving within a few hours—after you’ve made a qualifying purchase.
    • One-time offers will still be displayed in your account for a number of days after a qualifying purchase. This phenomenon does not mean that the offer is still available. A prudent cardholder will keep track separately of which offers they’ve used.
    • Used offers will eventually move to the “Redeemed” tab in your offers for a given card. These normally appear well before the credit itself posts.
    • Unused offers will move to the “Expired” tab after the offer deadline passes. This also happens to used offers if the purchase occurs shortly before offer expiration. Do not worry; the offer will eventually move to the “Redeemed” tab as discussed above.
  • PayPal “double-dipping” is possible. If PayPal is a bonus category for a card on which you also have a Chase Offer, you can double-dip by using PayPal (charged to the relevant card) to make the purchase.
For discussion of Chase’s unrelated quarterly “mybonus” offers, see the wiki and discussion at Chase "My Bonus" promotions (targeted category bonuses)

Anyone waiting for the Amazon Video $3 back offer, it takes a very long time to post.

It took 20 days to get the email that the purchase had tracked and another 2 days for the credit to post. So about 3 weeks in total.

15% Marriott TownePlace Suites, capped at $88.50. Unfortunately relatively short window to use it, so don’t think I will be able to use it.

Found only on my CSR.

And now similar separate offers for Fairfield, Westin, Springhill Suites have appeared.

Also, a 5% / 10% offer on United.

10% is for an E+ ticket purchase. Do elites selecting E+ seating for free qualify for this, or is it a separate fare class now?

Is it generally the case that buying a GC at the front desk will trigger this?

It has worked for similar AMEX offers, since a physical GC bought at the front desk is processed in such a way that it looks like you paid for a room in that dollar amount. The catch is that few properties seem to carry physical GCs these days, so you have to do some legwork/call around to find one. (I think I remember reading that they can be reloaded too, so if you ever do find one, don't throw it out once you spend it down to zero)

Santa Clara Marriott was able to sell me one. I called all the hotels in the area, they were the only ones that said they have the gift cards. All the others assured me they can redeem, just not sell the GCs.

The process was pretty smooth, I was able to load up one GC using 4 different CCs.

I am seeing a 10 percent Chase Offer (max $11) for Office Max/Office Depot on five of my Chase cards.

Did I mention that OD/OM has a sale on VGCs this week?

Hyatt Place and Hyatt House (separate offer for each) 15% back on $100 or more, max of $38 back. Which is super convenient for me as I am about to have a HH charge that comes close to the max

Dang, Chase has really upped their game. It used to be that all their offers were for $2 and $3, if that. They've had some really good stuff recently.

I have 10%, max $25, expires 9/22. Only available on my brand new Marriott Boundless, which is convenient since I have to put some spend on it anyway. Bought some gift cards

Don’t forget to link card to Rakuten or similar. Got another $7.50 (or rather, 750 MR) for my $250 purchase from them.

I am seeing a bunch of Staples 10% and 20% offers on various cards that have a $10 max payout. Unfortunately not on my Ink card, but 20% off a $50 Amazon gift card isn't bad. Same offer also at Home Depot, which conveniently is next door to Staples for me.
