BE AWARE! Ultimate Rewards does not convert "refundable" tickets to "non-refundable".

Yes, some hotel stays are refundable
I just tested the system on a cheap hotel 6 in Detroit. I successfully booked with points and canceled with a confirmation of refund. We'll see if points are refunded in 3 days.

I've cancelled two hotel rez. by calling in. A log wait on hold but then a quick cancellation. ^

Did Chase/ Connexion or whoever is their partner remove the blanket "all tickets are non-refundable" language as it pertains to air tickets? Or does this boilerplate disclaimer still appear even if the ticket is refundable?
