Very funny, a few hours after opening my CSR/Priority pass letter with my new card, and reading the fee is $27, I get an email telling me the fee is $32. Well done on the corporate communications side!

With regard to Priority Lounge, my recent trip (Newark NJ to Shanghai) has been disappointing. Outbound is AA via Chicago. Early flight out of EWR and I could only find AA lounge at ORD terminal. Inbound is Air China and United via Osaka and SF CA. Long wait time at Shanghai ticket counter and security. The lounges in Osaka are outside the custom and security. The lounge at SanFran is at international departure terminal.
So several cities, several segments, I did not get chance to visit any Priority Lounge.... I get 4 credit cards with Priority access.....

What strikes me is that, the major US international airlines are AA and United. Both of them have own lounge systems. Other lounges are away from AA and UA terminals. Most of the Priority lounges do not belong to the major carries. It is really a hit-miss situation. I would not want to travel 20 minutes to the lounge and have to get back through security etc....

I had a layover in SEA on a DL award ticket and I just went straight to the DL lounge there, didn't look up any of the PP lounges that might be there.

DL is fine since I also get AmEx Plat. Had plan to visit DFW Centurion lounge, but the flight was changed to ORD. The Centurion lounge is closed anyhow. So I think it is less a problem if it is all domestic.

Got my renewed PP card the other day through CSR and was interested to see that it now has a digital option. Went to the site only to discover that even though I have a PP online account already that I have to create an entirely new account to get the digital card. This even after asking PP how to just use the existing account and having them tell me to create a new one.
Sigh. PP is so janky.

Thought this info was useful:
From priority pass website https://www.prioritypass.com/en/member-support/faq
"Many lounges will allow children to enter, charged at the same rate as an adult guest - some lounges will also allow children under a certain age to enter for free. For more details on age restrictions please check the lounge pages of our website or on our app."
From Chase Ultimate Rewards website (I have CSR):
"Primary cardmembers and authorized users are granted complimentary access to the Priority Pass lounges and allowed a maximum of 2 guests per visit per Priority Pass Select membership card. If you’d like to bring additional guests, you will be charged $27 per additional guest, per visit within 3 billing cycles."
Now the interesting question: What would happen if there are two adults and two children (under age restriction). I would assume that if a lounge treats the children as free, then everyone can enter. If the lounge requires a fee for child, then you would have to pay for 1 child (assuming a family of 4). Anyone with family of 4 able to confirm?

Correct, and this depends entirely on the individual lounge's policy -and- on how the attendant on duty happens to code the transaction. The attendant knows nothing about your Priority Pass membership, and just records the number of people in your party.

I see that Wiki indicates that Authorized Users receive their own PP card - so does this mean that authorized users (i.e. additional cardholders) get a separate PP membership number?
If so this might be a inexpensive option for families that want to bring multiple guests in to the lounge.

The Barneys Beanery option was really nice and I used it outbound also and it can be used on Alcohol as well, only thing you have to pay is the tip. It was a nice option upon landing because I had to wait
I had to show my boarding pass at the Virgin lounge but didn't either time at Barney's

I was able to use it at both the Virgin clubhouse and then Barney's upon landing with no issues. Was disappointed in the Virgin lounge, I was expecting a real nice lounge like they have at LHR but they only had beer and wine and canned soda and snack type food. I entered around 10:30 and was told that as a PP holder I'd have to leave at 10:45, I only stayed a couple minutes and not sure how they know who is on a virgin flight and who in the club is a PP holder to enforce it.

When do you receive the renewal PP card ahead of the expiration date?
Last year IIRC the renewal card came almost a month before the expiration date. Ours expires Oct 2018 but we would leave for a long international trip just after Mid Oct and not return to LAX until Nov 19th. The places we could use the PP are at BNE and the restaurant at LAX upon arrival at TBIT. Flying out of LAX would be useless as the flight is on Virgin America departing from AS terminal 6.
Still, it would be nice to be able to use the PP benefit when flying domestic Australia as well as upon arrival at LAX TBIT. So I sent an SM to Chase today inquiring when will the renewal PP card arrive.
