Unless you're moving around a lot, the lounge staff will know that someone has been sitting in the same place for many hours. It's not just your face, it's that you and your stuff, etc isn't moving.

I have yet to encounter this but ISTR reading that some lounges give you a sticker with either your entry time or when your time is up printed on it.

As with everything flying ymmv. I believe in some cases lounges keep track of when you come in internally. Also many will notify you when you flight is getting close.

The only lounges I have seen that there are reminders for your flights are in the Star Alliance lounge and may be the OneWorld lounge at LAX. At the Star Alliance lounge the various member airlines employees would have a placard up for their flights walking around the lounge to remind their passengers that is the time to report to the gate.
At the OneWorld J lounge which is run by QF, the receptionist specifically told us "You are here because you are flying the eligible AA transcon LAX-MIA. Just remember there would be NO reminder for your flight."
in fact there are often postings on the lounge reception counters or on the walls that NO flight announcement would be made. You are on your own to rely on the monitor display. In at least one lounge we were in recently the monitor display did not even work - it did not refresh for a long time I noticed. Reported it to the attendant and got a "they would fix it right now." It remained stuck some 45 min later when we left to our gate.

Not the case even in airlines own lounges let alone the PP lounges.

There is a lounge in Lima that a lot of airlines use for their business class passengers (PP members can use it as well if the lounge isn't too crowded) and they make boarding announcements for all the international flights for the airlines they partner with.

The Skyclubs will announce when international flights are ready for boarding. I've also had a couple domestic flights that have had severe delays and sometimes the gate agents will call the skyclub to announce when they are ready for boring.

CX does the announcements on the delayed flights both when the flights are delayed as well as when the delayed flights are ready to depart in their HKG lounges but they do not announce normal flights. Nor I recall any announcement in their outstation lounges.
None of the PP lounges used in Asia, EU and Turkey do any flight announcement from my recollection in past 3 years.

It makes sense for the lounge to announce delayed flights departure time once they are finally ready to depart.

I'm surprised the LIMA lounge does announcements seeing they have a flight status/gate board in the lounge.

Now that I think about it, Delta doesn't do announcements for international flights at ATL, but they have so many international flights it would be pretty difficult and not to mention annoying for the people in the lounge to hear the announcements who have a long layover, but they do them for internatoinal flights at MSP and Detroit. I could understand why an airline lounge like The Club that has multiple airlines wouldn't do announcements.

I headed back, thanked the receptionists and off we went to the AA's A gates. For the domestic travel I would say the PP is pretty worthless at DFW, LAX and SEA. It is most useful in PDX and now DEN which has a restaurant participating. Though with the greed people demonstrated at PDX as reported on various websites, I doubt the set up can last.

Just after 1pm. The Club was completely full. Even it was not, but at that tiny space I would not feel comfortable to sit there as the space was extremely cramped with those old fashioned chunky chairs. You get a far better environment by the gate, I am serious.

This applies to all PP's but with the CSR's generous guests allowance I thought I would post it here as I was unaware of these extra's for my CSR. This was found by award wallet
Below are the current locations that allow you to charge food and drink directly to your Priority Pass membership.
Sydney – Australia
Benny Burger – Terminal 1
Mach2 – Terminal 1
Peroni Bar – Terminal 1
Bistro 2020 & Bar – Terminal 2
MoVida – Terminal 2
Bar Roma – Terminal 3
Wok on Air – Terminal 3
Brisbane – Australia
Corretto Cafe & Bar – International Terminal
Graze Grill & Bar – Domestic Terminal
Bar Roma – Domestic Terminal
Portland – US
Capers Cafe Le Bar – Concourse C
House Spirits Distillery – Concourse C
Capers Market – Concourse D
Denver – US
Timberline Steaks & Grille – Concourse C
London Gatwick – UK
Grain Store Cafe & Bar – South Terminal
How Does It Work at Restaurants?
Simply choose food and drinks worth up to $28 USD; for international locations, the exact dollar amount will vary slighty. You can certainly spend more, but you are responsible for paying the difference.
When it’s time to pay, have the cashier swipe your Priority Pass card rather than your credit card. Guests are eligible too, as long as your Priority Pass membership offers guesting privileges, i.e., if you have the Sapphire Reserve you could technically supply unlimited people with $28 credits towards food and drink. If you have the Prestige Card, you can bring two guests (or your immediate family) as this is the guest policy for that particular membership.
Get Pampered at a Spa or Catch a Few Hours Sleep in Transit
Restaurants aren’t the only perk added to the Priority Pass network. When transiting through Dubai, you can now take advantage of the Sleep ’N Fly Pods in Terminal 3 (Concourse A). The pods are equipped with a flatbed, fold away table, chargers for various electronics, and storage for bags. You can only stay between two and three hours, but any respite from a busy international terminal is going to help.
The Sleep ‘N Fly pods in Dubai
Priority Pass has also added ‘Minute Suites’ facilities in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Dallas. You’ll get an hour free and then a reduced rate of $28 per hour after that. The Minute Suites are great if you need quiet to concentrate on work or some privacy. There is room for two to sleep and Minute Suites supplies bedding, a work station, and a sound masking system to neutralize noise. If you happen to have multiple Priority Pass memberships, you could try to piggyback your stay across them as well.
In addition to the seven lounges already available at London Heathrow, Priority Pass members can access the Aspire Lounge & Spa in Terminal 5. While the lounge itself isn’t uber luxurious, you gain access to the Bliss Spa without forking over the required Ł40 to get in the door. You need to pay out-of-pocket for specific pre-flight spa treatments, but the Rest Pod sleeping area up the far end of the lounge is included in the admission fee (need to book the pods at reception upon entering).
Hotel Discounts and Rental Car Status
Other features of Priority Pass that appear relatively unknown include receiving discounts of up to 30% at IHG Hotels by logging in through the Priority Pass membership portal, and members can join the AVIS Preferred Plus program and get priority service, upgrades, add a free additional driver, and receive a voucher for a free weekend in Europe after your third rental.
These benefits aren't groundbreaking by any means, but when you take them all into account, they add another layer of value to a Priority Pass membership that most members reading this post will have received as a complimentary credit card perk.
A big caveat here: We've called Priority Pass several times and have been unable to get a firm answer on how to use either of these benefits, being told that we need to contact our credit card provider. We'll keep digging.
