I'd expect it to claw back. Just like points get subtracted from returns.

Citi prestige doesn't claw back.
Still no claw back. Will keep updating.

I think the real test is when your statement closes. Keep us posted please. :)

Ok....so I had to call back because something didn't sound right.

I spoke with a different CR this morning who said whatever the CR rep from last night said to you is completely wrong. I will get full $300 thru Dec 31. And then it resets on Jan 1 for another $300. She also said the rep from last night was also wrong when she told me that the AF is waived the first year....

Some training they have given their reps!!

Btw...it seems getting this card in December is way to go...you get a quick $300 credit...and another $300 a few weeks later...

The charge needs to hit your December Statement, regardless if that's December 1st or December 31st.

Charges that hit your January 2017 statement will count towards your 2017 travel credit.

Just to be clear. The transaction date doesn't matter. The Posting Date must be on the December 2016 Statement for the 2016 credit to apply.

This was one of the things that was clear in the agreement and materials provided with the card.

This has probably been covered somewhere in the big CSR thread, but I couldn't find it, so asking here:
Let's say I apply for this card, meet the $4000 min spend and get the 100k bonus points. I also get the $300 travel credit this year, and $300 credit early in 2017.
What happens if I cancel the card before the annual fee is due again later in 2017?
Surely they wouldn't allow this loophole for someone to claim $600 in travel credits and 100k in bonus points just for paying the initial $450 fee?

Yes, almost certainly they will. All other banks' similar cards (Amex Platinum, Citi Prestige, City National) work the same way -- one annual fee for a membership year, but one full travel credit for each calendar year, so double travel credits your first year as a cardholder. The CSR is advertised to be the same way, so there'll be a lot of complaining if it's handled differently.

The first time is a piece of cake. The trick is doing it a second time.

EZ-Pass here in Virginia posted as travel and immediately credited. Liking this card a lot already.

Anyone get a reimbursement for Uber or Limo service?

I read other threads that they got reimbursed for Uber. Not sure about limo service.

Don't think I can edit the wiki, but two things to add to it would be

counted for travel credit: Chicago Parking Meters

Doesn't count: AAA - Chicago Membership (didn't post as travel on CSP) (If the membership isn't counted as travel, most likely nothing charged to AAA including gift cards).

Just verified with Chase today that you only need to charge/spend $4000, even if you have a $300 travel credit. Good news. :)
