Authorization email for a different account?
Starting to worry here, I'd call chase but am taxiing for a short flight right now and will call after.
I just got an email authorization for $1.00 for a gas station in Avon, Ohio (no significance to me) for an account ending in a number that's not mine. I'm a worry-type person, and the account number definitely isn't one of mine (I only have two cards). Is this by chance just a glitch or could there be a much more serious problem? Also, I just received two chase text notifications for charges for (what I hope) were purchases I would have made July 31. On the chase app it says the notification primary email is dated today, but I didn't get an email (and also didn't buy that today). I'm hoping Chase is just acting screwy right now. |
Just got off the phone with security. The guy had mentioned another call earlier about this same issue (email for a different account).
Sounds like just a glitch and nothing more. |
