However, later the same day I also requested the credit by Secure Message (for "baggage fees) and it was approved. Very YMMV now but still doable. 2/10/2017
Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

Thanks. I've seen a lot of lists on line, but none that had HA either in or out.
Re "before it goes away": i.e. before introduction of the next set of Chase and Amex Marriott cards, which IIRC is supposed to happen some time in the next year or so.

Recently requested and received the full travel credit for a revenue ticket on Turkish. Called the number on the back of the card - no questions asked.

I called for 6 waivers at once and she kind of just went down the line and just granted them all until it hit $300 (was only a bit more). Could not have been easier. Just responded with a few yes, those were airline fees. None of those were ticket charges directly. Afterall, who is paying $28 for plane tickets on jetblue or BA?
I think this is a very much YMMV call. If you have a stickler, might be worth it to drop the call and try again. That $180 lufthansa charge went as an unknown fee that I did not even answer to, I just said, yea i got an exit row seat (i did).
Anyone having any luck dropping their line to ~1300 euros? I could only get down to ~4000 euro due to visa infinite references, I just referenced the inability to have AU lines be different and asked. But I think i will call back to see if i can get it to that ~1300 euro range.

I hit the 10k spend the first year to get gold for the second year. I am thinking about canceling the card to avoid the annual fee. Will I keep gold status if I cancel the card?
Also, how long does it take priority pass memberships to end after canceling the card?
Thanks!

One billion percent still the case. Once you have the certificates in your account they're all yours regardless of your credit card account status.

do you have Amex plat? Status match the SPG gold to your ritz gold status
no need to spend a dime on the ritz card.

Any advice before applying for this card? I've currently got 15 card accounts (plan to eliminate 1 in a month or two), with $215K credit line spread across them all, always fully paid off, 800+ credit score, 10 new cards in the last 24 months, 4 of them this year, 8 in the last 12 months, with about $57K credit line with my current chase cards (CSR/CFU/CF/IHG). Should I lower some of my credit lines first before applying for this card? I heard Visa Infinite cards require a minimum $10K initial line of credit?

No need to lower the total CL. Chase will do that for you if it sees you are extended. It took $30,000 CL out of my $50,000 CSR CL when I got the Ritz card. But I've since moved the CL back to the CSR again.
