However, later the same day I also requested the credit by Secure Message (for "baggage fees) and it was approved. Very YMMV now but still doable. 2/10/2017
Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

how are people getting AF refunded on this card? Just applied and was approved with a $27K CL which is too high. How do I get $450 AF refunded. I realize YMMV

I just received an email that the 3rd night was in my rewards account. This was 6 days after I received the email that I qualified for the matching offer.

No surprise here but I sent a SM to get credited for $120 in early-bird check-in fees from Southwest and received confirmation (within 2 hours) that I would receive the credit on my next statement.
I referred to them as seat upgrades in my email.

not sure whether it's still working, but you need to lower your CL to $1,500 or below. I had a $30K+ CL and felt too odd asking to lower it to $1,500 so I passed on this. I book enough tickets under the visa discount to more than make the card worthwhile, so I figured it wasn't worth it..

Is the $100 statement credit for Global Entry part of the $300 Annual Travel Credit? Does NEXUS count (for the statement credit's purpose)?

It doesn’t cover nexus. Call to see if your $300 could cover it. Ritz $300 credit covers nexus

how much benefit is plat status? I’m only thinking that it’s a backdoor to United silver
but $75k spend is quite a bit to give up given I have cards like Amex BBP 2x MR And Citi Att Access More 3x for online purchases (including rent on plastiq bonused at 3x
curious to hear how others look at this opportunity cost

as an aside I stay at Marriott <15 d per year. Plat doesn’t waive resort fees, right ?
