Ritz-Carlton Rewards Visa Infinite (closed to new applications)

Things qualifying/not qualifying under $300 annual travel credit

However, later the same day I also requested the credit by Secure Message (for "baggage fees) and it was approved. Very YMMV now but still doable. 2/10/2017
Southwest Airlines GCs work fairly easily. I've generally bought them for $150 and said they're excess baggage fees.

- Annual fee of $450 NOT waived.
- 6 points per dollar at Marriott properties, including SPGs and Ritz-Carltons. (same as all Chase & AmEx Marriott cards)

To me, RC card is better than AmEx SPG Lux card. The $300 travel credit is much more flexible than SPG's $300 Marriott credit. It is also a true Visa Infinite card and comes with the unlimited $100 airfare discount. You get Chase Executive service line.... Glad that this card is closed to new applicants, so the service can keep the same standard.

To me, RC card is better than AmEx SPG Lux card. The $300 travel credit is much more flexible than SPG's $300 Marriott credit. It is also a true Visa Infinite card and comes with the unlimited $100 airfare discount. You get Chase Executive service line.... Just got another AU card and this is the first time I've seen the new design. As expected, it's basically the same as the CSR. I'm going to be really sad in 2023 when my original card expires.

You'll be sad sooner. Chase will very likely send everyone a replacement to reflect the name change.

It is just so funny that, one day, we complain the card too heavy and order plastic card to carry. The other day, we say the new card too light....

Seems like such a waste of money just to remove the word “Rewards” and ship new crappy cards. Why not wait for them to expire? I’ll probably still carry the old metal card even after it stops working.
