Discussion continues HERE.

This card is under 5/24. You can override 5/24 by having an in-branch (only! online prequalification does NOT override 5/24) pre-approval, or by already being Chase Private Client (as in you see the "Chase Private Client" text on the login screen of the Chase mobile app.)

Landing page with bonus offer (100,000 UR after spending $4,000 in 90 days) is now live:

https://creditcards.chase.com/credit...04&IS2F=Y71UH0

Application page: https://applynow.chase.com/FlexAppWe...L3P&PROMO=DF01

100,000 UR points is worth $1,000 as statement credit, $1,500 when used for travel through the Chase portal, or potentially more if transferred to a partner.

Card features are here:https://www.chase.com/card-benefits/...reserve/travel. The card's Priority Pass includes unlimited guests.

Schumer box on 8/15/2016:

Chase Sapphire Reserve Ultimate Rewards Program Agreement

Chase Sapphire Reserve Guide to Benefits

The purchases made that you receive the $300 travel credit (or $85/$100 trusted traveler program credits) for do count towards the minimum spend, but the annual fee does not.

The card is made of the same material as the CSP, and is being shipped UPS Next Day Air Saver to everyone after production (currently (8/26) appears to have about a 3-day delay after approval before shipping.)

Went to one of the NYC Chinatown branches today (some of the few Chase branches that are open today) to apply. Was approved, but I'm under 5/24 so I know that data point doesn't help a lot of people.

Unfortunately, the banker told me that she'd already called for a previous applicant about having the card expedited, and was told that for the time being this is the *only* card that can't be expedited. I'm still hoping that given the high annual fee Chase does like the Ritz card and sends all of them UPS instead of regular mail.

Chase branches are open on Sunday?

Doesn't matter, don't have any bank accounts with them but interesting if they have Sunday service.

They have a limited number of branches open. Don't need an account to apply for a credit card in-branch today.

JPM EO Rep told me that online apps start tomorrow. Even looked through all the branches near me to see if one was open that I could app at.

Someone said 8AM tomorrow, not sure if legit.

From the Reddit thread, it appears that they are enforcing the 5/24 rule.

Came from the SF branch on Irving

Data Point:
2/24
Stated Income :280k
FICO: 777
CL: 35k

I was able to get it expedited by UPS and rep said it would be available to me by Wednesday (2 business days). I also asked if he knew of the card material would indeed be like the CSP or full metal like the Ritz. He told me that they were never able to hold the card physically during training, but he wouldn't be surprised if it was full metal like the Ritz since it's a premium card.

Is the annual fee not charged until your anniversary date?

You should be charged immediately if I remember.

It'll be charged in the first or second month, probably.

I really don't understand why people would think Chase would not enforce this policy.

5/24 wasn't strictly enforced when the Freedom Unlimited was launched.

Maybe to encourage more initial apps since it will not have United Club access, Priority Pass guest access, and the $100 Visa Infinite air discount for a premium annual fee ($450) card.

People keep asking this question over and over and over. It comes down to how the purchase is coded by that merchant. And, I am sure it varies by each state/city and how they code them.

Same goes for parking and buses and trains and spaceships.
