Discussion continues HERE.
This card is under 5/24. You can override 5/24 by having an in-branch (only! online prequalification does NOT override 5/24) pre-approval, or by already being Chase Private Client (as in you see the "Chase Private Client" text on the login screen of the Chase mobile app.)
Landing page with bonus offer (100,000 UR after spending $4,000 in 90 days) is now live:
https://creditcards.chase.com/credit...04&IS2F=Y71UH0
Application page: https://applynow.chase.com/FlexAppWe...L3P&PROMO=DF01
100,000 UR points is worth $1,000 as statement credit, $1,500 when used for travel through the Chase portal, or potentially more if transferred to a partner.
Card features are here:https://www.chase.com/card-benefits/...reserve/travel. The card's Priority Pass includes unlimited guests.

The purchases made that you receive the $300 travel credit (or $85/$100 trusted traveler program credits) for do count towards the minimum spend, but the annual fee does not.
The card is made of the same material as the CSP, and is being shipped UPS Next Day Air Saver to everyone after production (currently (8/26) appears to have about a 3-day delay after approval before shipping.)

Based on the link below, the following are the AVERAGE FICO score needed for the following premium cards:

Chase Saffire Preferred (741 score)
Amex Gold Rewards (729 score)
Amex Platinum (716 score)
Barclays Arrival Plus (733 score)
Given that the Chase Saffire Reserve is coming out, what would you estimate is the average FICO score required on the following competing cards?
CHASE SAFFIRE RESERVE
Chase Ritz Carlton
Chase Palladium
Citi Prestige

If those are all the benefits, this is a very weak card. With all Chase relationships one would have thought they could have come with something really unique and inventive.
That said, I'll get it for the bonus; downgrade the preferred to freedom unlimited, and downgrade this one to preferred next year before annual fee hits.
It would be a stretch to use the $600 travel credit (the $300 from the Ritz is already a stretch as it is), but for 100K UR points I'll do it.

Hopefully they keep the visa logo on the back of the card like they have on the sig version

Apparently, there was previously a 100K point offer for the Chase Sapphire "Preferred" Card as well. If someone remembers how long that promo was in effect perhaps we can get a general sense of how long the 100K offer for the "Reserve" card might be in effect.

The most recent super offer by chase that was coveted by the hobbyists was the 140k ritz. Did that last a only a quarter?

That was a public offer in late 2014 IIRC. Some folks who opened their cards in Q1 2015 were able to get matched to that offer. I don't recall the min spend. It was prob in the $3k ballpark.

I do agree with you which is why my ritz card never sees the light of day once it meets $10k/y spend to re-qualify me for gold status. But it would
Be nice if the card is 100% metal like the ritz and not a metal/plastic mix like the CSP and United club m, which tend to peel from edges after prolonged use.

I actually prefer credit cards not to be made from metal (and therefore be heavy). The Sapphire Preferred I have tends to slide out of its pocket when my wallet happens to be upside down. I always have to be careful opening it.

It also makes contactless impossible, but that might be a moot point since the US doesn't seem to want that feature.
