What's the difference between the Ink Bold & Ink Plus cards?
Ink Bold is no longer available. It was a charge card (pay balance in full each month), but it has been discontinued and many accounts were converted to Ink Plus cards with the same account numbers.
Ink Plus is a revolving credit card. It allows you to earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points (including transfering UR points to air/hotel/rail partners).

Are there special earning categories?Yes. You earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. (Sirius XM Radio also qualifies.)
In addition, you earn 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly from the hotel.
NOT ALL Ink cards earn the 5x and 2x bonus categories above. Not "Old Ink Bold" that earns 7,500 bonus points for $25,000 spend, 15,000 points for $50,000, and 25,000 points for $100,000 spend.

What are the rules for transferring UR points to other users or to my own air/hotel/rail accounts?
See the separate discussions in
Closing Ink Plus cardsIt is possible to pay the annual fee for the Chase Ink Plus business card, then close the account and get a refund of the fee up to 6 months after it was charged. This provides a total of 18 months of earning up to 5X points for free. Make sure your points are transferred out (either to another UR account owned by you or a spouse, or to an air/hotel partner) before you close the account.

This happened to me too and it persisted for days. I ended up sending a secure message and was able to receive an employee card within a week.

Got my 80k UR bonus from the Ink Biz Preferred card just recently. Plan to ultimately transfer most of it to United for an aspirational overseas flight sometime next year. Transfer now, or leave with Chase until needed?

Does anyone have experience with using a new tax ID for Ink Preferred app? I am referring to someone who just got the tax ID for their business.

Ink Plus Renewal
My Chase Ink Plus (Ink+) from 2016 is expiring this year. Has anyone successfully renewed this, or does Chase just assign one of their new business cards to you?

Card expiration is irrelevant. If Chase wants to move customers to a new card, they’ll do it in one go. As it is, you’re fine for now; my DW holds the Ink+ and has received no notice of any impending product change.

Weird little anecdote... P2 has an Ink Cash and was approved for an Ink Unlimited. For whatever reason, Chase shipped it on a physical card that reads "Ink Business Cash" instead of Unlimited. On the website everything is correct and the UR are posting as expected. Just very confusing which card is physically which.
For me, my Ink Unlimited is on the correct plastic.

Use a marker and put a dot or dash on the card or take a look at the exp date (later date will be Unlimited)

Obviously, like any good participant in this forum, I have already hit the minimum spend.

Im having an odd situation. I just got my Ink Business preferred. I also have Ink Cash and some personal cards...
The issue is that the Ink Preferred is not appearing in any online account. I cant find any place to 'add' it either. Anyone had this issue and know what to do? Thanks. (business center is closed right now and I can call tomorrow but I rather do it myself)

Approval after Lengthy Recon
Just a DP.
Saw the Ink Unlimited offer under my Chase bank account. Clicked the "more info" and tried to apply. But there is a constant loop of login and card off. Was not able to apply from inside the account. Had to "apply as guest".
The online app was declined for "too many cards opened over the past two years". It is 4/24 or 7/24 with AUs included.
Called business Recon line. Had to speak with two lending specialists about the AU accounts. The last one put on hold for a length 6-7 minutes. Finally got approved for a low credit line.
Happy about it. This is a catch-all card to complement the Citi DC and AmEx BBP card. Also, the Ink card is hidden and there is little impact to the credit report and Chase 5/24 etc....
